New Members, Netted Moose, 'n' More

Last weeks meeting was a hoot! Following a great social hour filled with Rotary Fellowship,  happy and sad dollars abounded:  Joe was happy to have his lovely wife Sue along....it was after all her birthday and he wanted to take her out to dinner:-), Stan was sad because the doors at Sarah's House had yet another setback, Wendy was excited about her 125 mile bike ride for charity, and Corina was jazzed about several potential new members.

We then had the great honor of welcoming, not one, not two, but THREE new members: Wendy, Jane, and Mike.....YEA!

It's hard to beat inducting three new members, but the program totally rocked as we learned all about how to catch a moose in a net from a helicopter from Maine Forest Service Pilot Chris Blackie and Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife moose biologist Lee Kanter.  Check out the photo album in the left column for a few pictures of the events.
