- Our first Makeup Social will be held on Tuesday September 2 at the Boomhouse Restaurant starting at 5:00 p.m.  Just show up for some fun and fellowship!

 

- The annual Golf Tournament is approaching fast: September 20th.  Needed:  gifts for the participants (such as gift certificates to local restaurants), sponsors, and teams to play in the tournament.  Please assist in any way you can and contact Dave Wollstadt with any questions and with any gifts, teams, sponsors you can gather. 

 

- Old Town Riverfest is September 26-27.  We want to participate but need volunteers!!!!  We would like to do the Chili Cookoff again on Friday but desperately need someone to run the event. We also will be providing free ice cream Friday night, hoping to have a float in the parade Saturday morning, and we will be having the chicken BBQ Saturday afternoon.  We will need helpers for all events to pull this off so please let President Corina know what you can do, especially if you would be willing to take on the Chili Cookoff!!!!  Time is short to get everything ready but this is a great opportunity for a Community Service project and to Light up Rotary in our town.   

 

-  RYLA - well the deadline passed and we have only sponsored one person.  We have the funds to sponsor two and if we can come up with one more, President Corina says she can still make it happen so wrack those brains and send her a candidate asap!!!
