Rotary is not a competition.  We are all on the same team trying to make our world a better place starting with our own communities and extending to the farthest reaches of the earth.  That said.....WE WON!!!!  WOOHOO!!! 

 

Sandy, Linda, Robin, and Corina were on hand at the District Conference where we were honored to win the coveted Turkey Cup beating out the next closest club by a whopping 20 points. 

 

What does that mean?  It means we did really great this year.  We did it right.....we were Rotarians.....we made a difference......We Lit Up Rotary!!!  None of us do what we do for the acknowledgement.  We do it because we care and want to make a difference.  But the acknowledgement is a nice way of measuring how successful we were in our endeavor and we deserve to be proud of that. 

 

Congratulations Old Town Rotarians - we can be proud of what we did over the last 11 months and look forward to upping the bar for the 2015-2016 Rotary year.  If we don't win the cup next year, let's make sure we make another club work darned hard to beat us!!
