Mindy Pelletier from the Center for Undergraduate Research at UMaine and Jessie, a senior who does research on phage genomics joined our meeting to share Jessie's research with us. She is a UMaine student studying Microbiology from Milford, Maine. She will be presenting again this year at the UMaine Student Symposium on April 15, 2022 at the Field House at UMaine. This was an interesting topic many of us knew very little about! The public is invited to attend this annual event which highlights the research and creative achievements of UMaine students.
