At this week’s meeting, we had the pleasure of hearing an inspiring presentation from our very own Club President, Scott Boucher, on the incredible work of the Rotary Foundation — the charitable arm of Rotary International that transforms our donations into projects that change lives around the world.
The Rotary Foundation supports Rotary’s mission to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through:
- Promoting peace and conflict resolution
- Fighting disease (including the global effort to end polio)
- Providing clean water and sanitation
- Supporting education and literacy
- Growing local economies
- Protecting the environment
Every contribution, big or small, helps make a global impact. The Foundation consistently earns top ratings for accountability and transparency, ensuring your gifts are used effectively.
How to Participate:
- Become a sustaining member by giving as little as $25 annually
- Contribute directly to the Rotary Foundation online
- Support our club’s fundraising efforts that benefit Foundation projects
- Learn more about becoming a Paul Harris Fellow, recognizing generous and dedicated supporters of Rotary’s mission
