-Congratulations to this week's winner of the Polio Plus Monday Night Football Raffle:  Scott Boucher!  Our Assistant Governor Scott is personally quite passionate about the push to eradicate polio and has worked hard to support the cause in his Bangor Club, so it couldn't have happened to a nicer fella.

-Don't forget the next Makeup Social will be on Wednesday October 1st from 5:30 to 6:30p.m. at Kosta's Bar and Grill.  Come enjoy the fellowship and bring family and friends along too!  It's a fun way to do a makeup and a great way to introduce Rotary to others.

-And the Hunter's Breakfast is scheduled for November 1st.  Further details to come so stay tuned.

-Old Town Riverfest is this weekend - September 26th and 27th. We are serving free ice cream on Friday night, a float in the parade Saturday morning, and a chicken BBQ on Saturday afternoon.  Volunteers are always needed for everything - the more the merrier.  In addition Linda will need a few volunteers on Friday evening to prep the food for the BBQ.  This is a great way to Light Up Rotary in our community.  It will also count as a makeup if you need one.  So if you can spare some time, check in with President Corina to see where you might be able to help out.

-The Rotary Leadership Institute is on October 18th, from 7:30 to 3:30 at Lewiston-Auburn College.  See the story below for more details....

That's all folks......tune in next week for more scintillating news from President Corina!!!
